ChildFund Brazil – Children’s Fund is a humanitarian agency that has been operating in Brazil for 59 years, supporting children, adolescents, and young people in situations of deprivation, exclusion, and social vulnerability, while ensuring Child Safeguarding.
Main Characteristics of the Role: Unique role, but interacts with everyone within ChildFund and audits other countries and partners in Brazil. Leadership speaks Spanish and English; position involves matrix management and requires travel within Brazil and abroad.

Management Team: Young, resilient, process-oriented team that must have autonomy, teamwork skills, and strong oral and written communication, as well as digital literacy in technologies focused on service delivery.
Academic Background:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting.
Master’s degree is a plus.
Obtaining one or more of the following professional certifications and licenses at the local level is a plus: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or Certified Fraud Examiner.
Other Required Competencies:
Demonstrate strong project management skills.
Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including influence, negotiation, and relationship-building.

Outros requisitos:
Previous Experience:
Experience in external or internal audits. Experience auditing international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is a plus.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of generally accepted international accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing.
Technical experience and expertise in evaluating systems and processes, identifying weaknesses, and recommending areas for improvement.
Experience speaking, reading, and writing fluently in English and at least one other regional language.
Experience in leading and executing audits.
Languages:
Advanced English required; Advanced Spanish desirable.
Computer Skills:
Advanced Office Suite, including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Planner, and Outlook; Artificial Intelligence and other relevant information technology strategies for the audit area.
