We are seeking a Finance Intern who possesses expertise in Brazilian accounting procedures, invoicing, collections, and office administrative support.

Job Overview:

As a Finance Intern in our Barra da Tijuca office, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the company's growth. This position offers you a unique opportunity to showcase your analytical skills while aspiring to become a future manager within our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass managing financial analysis, overseeing accounting procedures, handling invoicing and collections, and providing crucial support in office administrative routines.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Collaborate with various teams to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee financial accounting and bookkeeping for the Brazilian division.
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Process invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and ensure timely collections.
  • Support payroll processing, tax filings, and deductions, adhering to Brazilian laws.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate timely completion of audits.
  • Provide support in office administrative routines, including document management and record keeping.
  • Organize all office documentation, licenses, insurance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Brazilian accounting regulations and industry best practices.


Requirements:

  • Students in Accounting, Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools, accounting software, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting finance tasks.
