If you are passionate about boosting customer success and business performance through new data analytics technologies and want to be a part of this digital transformation in Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!

During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group’s global truck manufacturing organization. You will take a deep dive into manufacturing & logistics.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several “on-the-job” rotations and have opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

DATA ANALYTICS TRAINEE - SERVICE MARKET LOGISTICS

WHO ARE WE?

You will play an important role in the transformation and creation of the supply chain of the future with advanced analytics skills.
We are responsible for logistic preparation, demand, inventory and material planning, supplier relationship, and transport management of spare parts supply chain of Volvo Trucks, Buses, Volvo Construction Equipment, and Volvo Penta.

WHO ARE YOU?
As a new member of our team, you will play an important role in the transformation and creation of the supply chain of the future with advanced analytics skills. You will be responsible for applying a scientific mindset and engineering skills in analyzing large volumes of complex data, using automation & coding tools. To do that, you'll also support data architecture implementation and organization within our team. For that, we need you to have strong data analytic skills to handle different and complex systems. So, it's desirable that you may use cloud-based technologies, coding (as SQL, Python, as examples), automation (VBA, RPA, as examples), and visualization (PowerBi, for instance) tools to manage the amount of data needed.
Other requirements are: that you have a degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, or related area, are fluent in English, and have a valid work permit for Brazil.
If you also have previous experience from studying or working with logistics and inventory management and knowledge in the agile methodology it will be a differential.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TRAINEE - MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING POWERTRAIN

In Volvo Group Trucks Operations, you will be part of a diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust, and embrace change to stay ahead. We make our customers win.
Our team has the responsibility of Industrial Strategies and Investigations, Investment Coordination, Product System Roadmap, Overall Product Project coordination, Technology Development, Process Development, and Product and Process alignment with Volvo Group Trucks Technology. The ME has also been the owner of some focus areas in the VPS – Volvo Production System to support continuous improvements and problem-solving.

WHO ARE YOU?
As a new member of our team, you will be assigned to different innovative initiatives and projects working in local and global environments. You will be also accountable to develop areas of factory automation, additive manufacturing, and plant digitization. You will be responsible to support the team in taking our production, processes, and products to the next level by researching, developing, and implementing the latest trends in manufacturing such as Industry 4.0, Big Data, Industrial Internet of Things, and predictive maintenance/analytics. Participate in the development of a plant strategy in terms of future products, industrial processes, and project portfolio.
For that, we need you to have strong knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, more specifically in Power Platform, passionate coach on Citizen Development, and constantly learning and challenging yourself about new technologies, innovation, and ways of working.
Other requirements are that you have a degree in computer science, design, engineering, or related area, are fluent in English, and have a valid work permit for Brazil.
If you also have previous experience studying or working with manufacturing processes, knowledge in agile methodology and lean manufacturing will be a differential.

 

MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TRAINEE - EUROPE & BRAZIL MANUFACTURING

Our team has the responsibility to supports our customers by designing and implementing the best manufacturing processes and tools to produce our Volvo trucks and buses at the best performance levels.  We are also part of the transformation journey as the entry point for the main changes related to our Products (vehicle), Processes and Systems also driving their industrialization / implementation utilizing the best in class Project Management tools.

WHO ARE YOU?
As a new member of our team, you will make a difference driving prosperity through transport and infrastructure solutions and see your improvements become a reality. You will be responsible to support the team to create value by taking our processes and products to the next level by researching, developing and implementing the latest trends in manufacturing in areas such as factory automation, additive manufacturing and plant digitization as well as methods and tools for complex problem solving such as AI, 6 Sigma and Data Analytics.

LOGISTICS DATA ANALYST TRAINEE - MANUFACTURING LOGISTICS

You will be a part of this team which consists out of various roles: Logistics Process, Innovation, project managers, work together It team, Data analytics … They are leading the logistics innovation in a most dynamic environment, where passionate people help to build the factory of the future. Cooperation is key!

WHO ARE YOU?
As a new member of our team, you will focus on the available internal & external logistic information. Your main task consists out of transforming and structuring the data in visually attracting interfaces that allow easy and correct interpretation by your colleagues. Based on their input you can provide a more in-depth analysis of the data or the other way around, give a bigger scope and insights in possible correlations.

For that, we need you to have strong data analytic skills to handle different and some complex systems.
