Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare letters, documents, reports and/or presentations using various software packages. Ensure that the resulting work products are accurate and professional.
  • Act as a focal point and resource for office tools, equipment and supplies. Order materials and supplies using appropriate applications (MSMS, SAP, etc.).
  • Use the department's documentation systems effectively.
  • Plan and schedule meetings. Coordinate meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for individuals and groups.
  • Provide support for accounting and expense reporting.
  • Handle mail, faxes, shipping, and other department requirements.
  • Support department's personnel procedures and policies, enter payroll information.
  • Set up and maintain department file share on network server.
  • Assign and maintain access privileges to appropriate files and servers.
  • Maintain Purchasing web pages as needed.
  • Maintain data and/or produce reports utilizing Purchasing applications.
  • Manage projects in areas of responsibility.
  • Coach others in building administrative skills.
  • Researches and resolves minor supplier contract questions

  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to operate independently and to take the initiative in accomplishing job responsibilities.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Good communication skills with ability to interface well with wide variety of people.
  • Positive attitude, with an open-minded approach to learning.
  • Proactive approach in planning for various needs and requirements of work group - including an awareness of the responsibilities of group members
