Job summary

This position has as main responsibility to control and manage business information in a consolidated manner, guaranteeing a financial and accounting view of the LAS business. This professional will analyze the information in depth and support the strategic decision making by the Financial Manager and Executive Director of LAS. This position should align with the financial areas of the LAS countries and move through the interface areas and the decision makers of LAS and be a business consultant and reference on the results of the LAS region. This professional will offer all the necessary detail and macro and micro vision of the processes and results supporting the management to take corrective actions in time and form.

Requirements

Graduated in Business Administration, Accounting or Economics
Desirable MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance or Controllership
Excellent command of Financial Mathematics
7 years Brackground in similar position in multinational company
Fluent English
Advanced Excel
Strong knowledge of general and managerial accounting;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced computer proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint. Solid working knowledge using financial systems, including SAP and BI.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management.
Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and focus on the most critical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates the highest level of confidentiality.

MARs – Main Areas of Responsibility:

• P&L and WC Monthly forecast ownership, by Country, including variance analysis and leadership communication
• Implement a monthly report of P&L and AR.
• Continuous analysis of sales/collection tools and the impact on OID (Grain Swap, Credit Card, Deferred Checks)
• Lead and prepare the annual budget process, working closely with the business partners inside and outside of finance
• Perform monthly actual vs. Fcst vs. budget and vs. LY analysis with identifying major drivers for performance variances (WC, SAR, OID). Also evaluate the FX impact when applicable
• Monthly closing analysis: perform inventory reconciliation, PII review, EBIT results and balance sheet account variation
• Control R&D expenses by project
• Participate on Local SOP meetings, providing insights on POS impact
• Develop analyses to create clear risk and opportunity plans
• Support business partners with ad hoc requests
• Take initiative to drive change and improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Establish a track record of clear communication up and across the organization
• Work with Accounting and Finance team (Decision support) to design unified management reports;
• Provide in depth analysis on SG&A, including T&E tracking, others and pursue cost efficiency improvement opportunities
• Design standard business segments results monthly templates to further analyze root causes for Product Margin variance of business segments by region (e.g. variance caused by Products portfolio, by Ingredients cost, by formulation updates etc.)
• Monthly and quarterly Analysis of Price, sales terms, POS, VEMP – By country
• Cooperate with Commercial to conduct monthly pricing overview and ensure pricing status align with pricing strategy.
• Develop benchmarking data to drive high efficiencies and better results for commercials and key support functions
• Proactively offer business insights on existing processes and further drive processes changes to gain efficiencie
• Actively involved in business segments daily operations to pursue value capturing from current process
• Take initiatives to support business in developing new segments and related performance metrics
• Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
• Support Finance Manager with in-depth analysis and prepare presentations.
• Conducts regular financial reviews with management, examining actual results compared to budgets/forecasts and forward-looking opportunities/risks.
• Participates in the review, interpretation, and analysis of key performance indicators, economic data and other management reports to assist management in evaluating business performance.
• Makes recommendations to management regarding cost-saving and profit-generating opportunities as well as profitability improvement strategies.
• Supports management's decision-making process by managing the analysis and reporting around key business drivers including revenue, gross margin, and operational expenses.
• Serves as a business partner for specified functions of accounting and finance related questions. This requires the ability to assess business needs, resolve risks, drive opportunities in a timely manner, and clearly communicate issues and business results.
• Active participation in various business finance initiatives and other duties as assigned
Strong and permanent liase with the other FP&A expertise domains to identify and leverage growth opportunities while getting an holistic view of the business across the geography.
Supports the enterprise/business with new business activities and issues resolution, business transactions, tax and customs issues, and liaising with legal and other cross-functional departments as necessary.
• Work with demand planner to design appropriate demand forecast templates with sufficient information on SKUs, further strengthen sales forecast accuracy
Be familiar with SOP , cooperate to drive efficiencies in raw material purchasing plan and Operations management (e.g. inventory management, safety stock level analysis)
