Experience

• Bachelor's degree plus reliability, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience required.

• English proficiency.

Facilitates development of the business/facility maintenance strategy, solves reliability and availability losses through application of reliability technology and tools to enable the silicon metal and the charcoal plants to meet its business plan and strategy.

Focuses on those opportunities that over a long-term period or historically have impacted the plant’s measured asset capability and the opportunities identified as "high-risk" in risk assessments, reliability models, and other evaluations. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques, and methodology within the analytical technology discipline.

Responsibilities / Duties

• Support the Facility Reliability Strategy development.

• Support the team to achieve plant PSR – Product Supply Reliability targets.

• Creates Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs.

• Evaluates effectiveness of individual aspects of the PPM – Predictive and Preventive maintenance program by showing quantitatively the impact of failures and PPM.

• Facilitates and/or contributes greatly to driving proactive PPM Optimization activities to support overall productivity improvements.

• Identifies and resolve Top Reliability Opportunities and decrease equipment failure losses to meet the site Product Supply Reliability improvement goals for the given year.

• Develops and maintains a model that identifies the unit operations, equipment, process, etc. that identifies the value of opportunities for improvement, as requested.

• Uses reliability engineering principles and tools to increase AC – asset capability and AMR – asset mechanical reliability.

• Participates in plant health study and efforts to implement corrective action to maintain or improve plant health.

• Performs Root Cause Investigations for unplanned events to prevent recurrence.

• Provides front end loading support for plant Turnarounds.

• Facilitates/supports the Reliability Team and implement of the HRO (Highly Reliable Organizations) principles within the unit, building strong partnerships and coaching/teaching as needed.

• Support the annual maintenance budget setting process.

• Assists maintenance representatives and project teams to design reliability, availability, and maintainability into new plants and equipment systems using GPM (Global Projects Measurements) work process discipline.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
