We are looking for a professional: ADMS Power engineer, who will be in charge of leads the solution implementation from power engineering & business point of view!

Responsibilities:

• Reading and understanding project documentation in the project preparedness phase.
• Communicating with customer SMEs about technical details and reporting project-related issues and risks to the project manager.
• Being informed about the project schedule and tracking and reporting task progress to the project manager.
• Participating in cost planning events and monthly cost reviews organized by the project manager.
• Reporting individual/private/knowledge/experience-related issues/risks to the team lead.
• Collecting, understanding, and mapping customer requirements to product and contracted scope.
• Collaborating with Product Owners/Managers regarding additional ADMS functionalities requested by customers.
• Understanding business processes of a utility and how ADMS relates to them.
• Identifying key business drivers for the project and setting development priorities.
• Designing the solution, including customizations and configurations, and fitting/changing of business processes and/or operation approach in the control center.
• Providing and maintaining configuration documents throughout the project execution.
• Communicating about design/scope and configuration changes during the project execution to other team members.
• Creating development backlog for baseline and customizations in agreement with product owner/manager.
• Ensuring development tasks are entered in appropriate backlog management tools.
• Monitoring development backlog, progress, and communicating risks and issues with project impact.
• Approving completion of customization development tasks and participating in baseline software and solution development.
• Presenting new developed features to customers before official testing/approval.
• Leading the network tuning process and setting up initial default user options and visibility profiles.
• Providing input to Test Manager about the importance of features from a testing point of view.
• Participating in creation of document for Licensing.
• Providing testing support during official testing phase and triaging defects assigned during project execution.
• Reporting defects found during testing and providing business level troubleshooting for ADMS solution.
• Participating in training, cutover plan creation, system availability phase, and warranty and S&M phases.
• Providing inputs and directions necessary for project planning activities.

Quallifications:

• Bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in software implementation for Electric Utilities
• Knowledge of OMS, DMS, EMS or similar systems (ex electrical systems modeling / simulation systems) is mandatory
• Knowledge of SCADA is mandatory
• Knowledge in DERs (Distributed Energy Resources) is a plus
• Advanced english oral communication skills are mandatory
• Advanced spanish oral communication skills are beneficial althought not essencial
