We are looking for a Production Manager who will be in charge of BI Animal Health Number One Product: Nexgard. This person will be responsible for leading a factory certified by the FDA and ANSES, global supplier of more than 120 markets and operation in fixed shift (up to three shifts) and relay (24 hour and 7 days per week operation).
 
Job Responsibilities
 
Performance / Productivity
Ensure the achievement of the industrial goals of the areas under his/her management;
Ensure management of departmental level KPIs (2nd level);
Ensure the implementation of process improvements;
Ensure compliance with the maintenance plan;
Supervise the sizing of production capacity for this to be compatible with business needs.
Financial Management / Projects
Elaborate and manage department budget;
Ensure achievement of financial goals (department P & L);
Support medium / large projects in the area;
Optimize resource utilization with the goal of minimizing product cost.
Quality Management
Ensure maintenance of site certifications (FDA, EMEA, MAPA, etc.);
Ensure a reduction in the number of recurrent deviations;
Ensure a reduction in the number of customer complaints related to product quality;
HSE management
Ensure adherence to legal norms and corporate guidelines;
Ensure safe conditions in operations aiming at accident prevention.
People Management
Define department goals and priorities;
Develop, communicate and monitor the strategic plan of the area; Promote the development of people through Boehringer evaluation tools;  
Develop a succession plan at the department level.  


Requirements


Graduated in Engineering, Pharmacy or related areas;
Desirable postgraduate in Business / Industrial Management, Finance or Projects.
Technical / Specific Knowledge and Functional Skills Knowledge of the principles of operation of production equipment (tanks, washing machines, bottling machines, labeling machines, packers, distillers, steam generators, printing systems);
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
Knowledge in continuous improvement;
Specific knowledge of production area: Documentation and Quality Assurance system; Productive processes of oral solid drugs Production Management;
Computer science (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project);
Leadership;
Fluent English
