Major Tasks/ Activities:

Material Replenishment Planning:
Process Owner for the MRP Process in the plant.
Fix planned orders and / or purchase requisitions in order to align stock levels with forecasted demand (including secondary demands), open orders and available inventory.
Ensure availability of finished goods and plan availability of raw materials accordingly.

Inventory Management:
Track inventory level in terms of value & quantity.
Ensure optimimal stock levels based on expected sales figures (rolling forecast, open orders).
Participate in Monthly Local Supply Alignment Meeting. Provide input about capacity situation and potential issues.
Implement action plan for low turning products, for slow movers and for blocked stocks.

Bottleneck Management:
Proactive communicate with Sales, CSD, Procurement or Product Managers about upcoming shortages and propose alternatives from the production schedule.
Align production plan with decisions of Business, respect frozen zone and ensure approval and tracking of the violations.

Master Data:
Responsible for Master Data Maintenance for materials (MRP Views)
Align Lead times and lot size with Procurement responsible.
Update safety stocks, campaign size and lead times.

SIOP:
Give input in Local Supply Alignment meetings: provide needed information to Local Head of Scheduling for RCCP calculation. Inform about main issues in supply of RM/FG/TG

 

 

Requirement Skills

  • Analytical & Mathematical skills will help the planner to make calculations taking into consideration more than one variable. (Leadtime, Lotsize, minimum PR quantity, Production 
    Capacity, etc).
  • Communication skills to facilitate the coordination between the planning and the other departments. (Sales, Procurement, logistics, production, etc)
  • Presentation skills is essential for the accurate reporting.
  • Advanced English. Spanish is a plus
