• Leading business development, Sales & Marketing efforts, sales growth and strategic setting in the paper markets, Paints, Plastics, Rubber, Adhesives, Food, Pharma and Personal Care for the Southern Cone.
• Management of the client portfolio and existing contracts for these markets
• Management support the sales representatives of the customer base when there
• Identify and translate market needs to be incorporated into the strategy;
• Accompany and support the R & D team in developing new products and applications.
• Ensure customer support and technical support team to solve problems, fighting complaints and monitoring of industrial tests in customers.
• Ensure audit compliance in the several areas under his Coordination alongside functional Managers/Directors in the region.
• Statutory / Regulatory responsibilities
• Keep the link with global peers and carbonates team for translation projects that can be replicated in the region.
• Leading marketing initiatives, product positioning, brand, market intelligence, communication and advertising at trade fairs and business events in the region.
• Monitor, manage and define strategies to deliver the sales budget for the year for your business.
• Manage the development of the strategy to ensure the delivery of results as annual sales budget
• Building link with the areas and promote integration between departments
• Create the environment Monitoring of monthly and quarterly sales Programming (Rolling Forecast) business under their responsibility.
• Manage the minimum price levels and margins Gross market for each product and customer, as policies.
• Manage the levels of Working Capital and General Expenses of the region, compliance with the payment terms and financial charges negotiated with the Finance Department as policy;
• Comply with, publicize and support the implementation of sales policies and internal policies of the company.
• Develop market intelligence work with the Department of Marketing and monitor competition, obtaining relevant data (samples, sales prices, financial situation, etc.) that affect the company's business.
• Monitor, generate and analyze statistics of Non-Conformance Reports (RNCs) of its customer base;
• Carry along with Marketing department, customer satisfaction survey and assist in trade shows settings in which the company participates and will participate.
• Act together with the area of Supply Chain seeking to improve logistics processes for customers, inventory levels, transport, delivery and other logistics solutions.


• Education: Preferably technical training in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Production, Mechanical. Graduate in the area of Business and MBA desirable;
• Specific: Deep knowledge of management techniques, business management, sales, negotiation, leadership and people management, strategy and execution. Notions of International Trade and Logistics (Import and Export). Business Development role experience desirable.
• Experience: minimum 6 months of proven experience in Sales, Business Development preferably with exposition to Paper market, Plastics and Paints and knowledge of minerals. Knowledge of Carbonates is a Plus.
• Languages: English and Spanish: Fluent / Portuguese or French: Plus
